Dragon #417

I painted these illustrations back in August for Dragon magazine #417. Now the articles are out, so I can show you these two heroes. The first one is an Eberron piece, the guy is on it is an Assassin of the Silver Flame. The second one made me so happy because it's for a Dark Sun article and I always liked the visualization of this world. The tough-looking girl is a bounty hunter, her name is Ysrilla Lightstep.

"For centuries, Miron’s Tears has fought a secret war against the fiendish forces that strive to infiltrate and corrupt the Church of the Silver Flame. Do you have what it takes to join this devoted order?"

"Ysrilla Lightstep stalks the desert wastes of Athas in search of elusive prey, defying death to claim her prize. The bounty hunter has perished more than once, but death only fuels her determination."

"With all the experience and professionalism of a consummate artist, Peter Tikos is an absolute pleasure to work with. Peter first caught my attention through the slush-pile of all things, and has since proven himself over and over to be an absolute pro. A disciplined artist with a solid grounding in the fundamentals of creating world-class art, Peter continues to take direction well and prove himself a top-tier artist even under tight deadlines and heavy work-loads. His work is exceptional and his unique visual storytelling continues to stop fans in their tracks. I look forward to watching his career for a long time to come."
